"Stashvent" A DIY Advent Kit

If you've been in the knitting community for any length of time chances are you've heard chatter about yarn Advents...

There are many ways to go about participating in the Advent festivities, I always find myself with a little FOMO (fear of missing out) if I choose not to grab an Advent. 

This year I've put together a DIY Advent Kit for you or a friend to fill as you'd like with your own stash yarn (new yarn is great too). 

I'll be filling mine in September with the mini skeins I've been meaning to use up and by the time I open Day 1 on December 1st chances are I will have forgotten which color I put where and it will all be a surprise for me all over again. 

I still want to make sure you get to a little surprise to open though so included are 4 surprise notions to put in whichever days you like. 

Here's a list of what's included:

• 25 cloth drawstring bags
• 1-25 wooden numbers
• 4 surprise notions all wrapped up
• A list of possible patterns you can make with your yarn advent
